Recently, Longgang Pump industry received a certificate issued by the National Pump Standardization Technical Committee, which proves that the company participated in the formulation of the national standard of “General Safety Technical Specifications for liquid pumps and pump units” as a drafting unit. The standard, proposed by the China Machinery Industry Federation and issued by the State Administration for Market Supervision and Administration and the Standardization Administration, aims to further improve the safety performance of liquid pumps and pump units to ensure their stable operation in various application scenarios.
The standard will be officially implemented on January 1, 2025. The standard specifies the basic safety requirements of liquid pumps and pump units, the safety requirements in conventional and high-risk environments, and the verification methods of safety requirements and measures. The introduction of this standard not only provides unified safety technical requirements for the design, manufacturing, installation, use and maintenance of liquid pumps and pump units, but also further promotes the standardization and standardization of the pump industry.
